Antelope Canyon Workshop update

From Ray Taggart:

Day One:

The trip started out with a bang! After our pre-trip meeting the night before, 4:15 am came early. But boy was it worth it. Getting to Horseshoe Bend way before it was light enough to see, gave us plenty of time to get set up and watch nature start to fill in details. It was magnificent! After breakfast it was off to the hoodoos. The clouds were awesome and everybody got to work on composition and creative shooting. By 2:00 lunch was over and it time for our workshop. We covered HDR processing, Photoshop tips and tricks, and workflow. By 5:30 we were on the road again for our sunset shots overlooking Lake Powell . Everything went great and the sunset was truly spectacular.

Day Two:

Up again early for sunrise shots across a beautiful valley with Echo Peak as our backdrop. The early morning light was perfect and everyone took full advantage of it. There was lots of 1 on 1 time this morning with the two instructors, Mylo and Ray. Everyone’s comments were full of excitement and anticipation. We couldn’t wait for whatever was next up. We didn’t have to wait long, by 7:30am we were at the check in station at Lower Antelope Canyon. We entered the canyon shortly after 8:00 and the WOW factor was off the charts. We had 2 full hours in the canyon. This is truly a special place to be able to photograph. This afternoon the workshop will cover post processing some of the canyon shots. Everyone is very excited because we plan on a lot of 1 on 1 to see what we can get on the computers.
