Pixels & Canon ZooLights Day @ Hogle Zoo

We are excited to co-host Zoo Lights Day with Canon at Utah’s Hogle Zoo on December 10, 2011.

Just as with our Zoo Day back in September, Pixels will be up at there again with a representative from Canon and we will have camera bodies and lenses to loan out. Valid credit card and a drivers license will be required for any and all equipment rented. The cost is $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and children, and toddlers 2 and under are free. The camera and lens rentals will also be free! You just have to pay for zoo admission. For more information, click here.

This event will be a very traditional, family-Christmas type setup. There will be Christmas lights all around the zoo, Santa will be there for photographs (though no professional photographer will be present, a perfect opportunity for you to try out one of the many Canon camera bodies that will be available) from 5:45pm to 9pm, free to guests with admission, carolers from 6pm to 8pm, and there will be an oversized family Christmas card for your family to stand in front of to take photos.

The zoo will also have a reindeer “parade” at 5:40, which which will have Santa walking the reindeer down to their night pen next to the Santa station. The reindeer will be out for guests to see until 9 pm.

The reptile house will be open and warm. The gates will be open from 5:30 pm to 9 pm and guests can stay on grounds until 10 pm. So come on out and have some fun with us!
